When a person thinks about high-end carpet tiles, they think Interface. And Flor (Interface) recognized that discarded fishing nets around the world leave a horribly negative trail of pollution, erosion, debris, etc. This 2 week trip to the Philippines captured amazing footage showing how Flor can take these nylon6-fishing nets and break them down to reusable materials to re-extrude as new carpet tiles. A true closed loop manufacturing process. October is responsible for the casting, location, crew, production, editing, music, color and final delivery.
